阪急阪神ホールディングスグループ　シンガポール共和国における倉庫の建設について　～当グループ最大の物流倉庫で、アセアン地域での事業拡大を進めます～

阪急阪神ホールディングスグループでは、阪急電鉄及び阪神電気鉄道が共同で設立した現地法人「阪急阪神プロパティーズ シンガポール」により、シンガポール西部地区で新たに物流倉庫を建設します。
本年6月にシンガポール政府から土地使用の許可を得ることができ、本年秋の着工、2017年春頃からの運営開始を予定しています。

今回のプロジェクトは、国際物流ネットワークのハブとして高い優位性を持つシンガポールにおいて、当グループ最大規模となる物流倉庫を建設・保有、同国内 外で物流業務を担う現地法人「阪急阪神エクスプレス シンガポール」が主要テナントとして入居し、顧客ニーズに応じた高機能かつ高品質のロジスティクスサービスを提供します。

国際輸送事業では、本倉庫をアセアン地域におけるハブと位置づけるとともに、チャンギ国際空港に隣接する既存倉庫（賃借物件）とあわせて、国際輸送事業におけるロジスティクスビジネスの規模と業容を飛躍的に拡充し、加速度的に増加が見込まれるアセアン域内物流需要に対応します。

また、不動産事業では、本倉庫が現在インドネシアで建設中の物流倉庫に続き、アセアン地域で当グループが保有する2件目の物流倉庫となります。これらのプロジェクトを通して情報収集・事業機会探索とノウハウ蓄積を進め、海外展開のさらなる推進を目指していきます。

当グループでは、将来にわたって持続的な成長を実現していくため、中期経営計画における事業戦略の一つに「中長期的な成長に向けた新たなマーケット（海外等）の開拓」を掲げており、今回の取組みは、その戦略に沿ったものです。

当該地は、市内や既存の港湾地区からのアクセスに優れ、マレーシア第二連絡橋も至近です。また、シンガポール政府が2027年を目途に整備を進めるトゥアス（Tuas）新港にも近く、周辺エリアの中でも物流拠点として高い競争力を有しています。

本倉庫は、高い生産性を実現すべく、上層階にVNAラックシステム(Very Narrow Aisle Racking System)※の導入を予定しているほか、低層階には空調フロアを設置し、冷蔵設備の導入も可能な設計とすることで、電子部品、医療・ヘルスケア機器、医薬品、リテール系商品（最終消費財）、eコマース商品などを中心に、多様なお客様のより高度な物流ニーズに対応できる仕様としています。また、医療機器物流管理基準GDPMDS(Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices)をはじめ、各種品質システムを通じて一貫した高品質物流をご提供します。
※通常のラックシステムより狭い通路とすることで、収納力と作業効率がアップします。

Engages in development of Logistics Center in Singapore
for expansion of business in ASEAN countries

Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group (hereinafter, “the Group”) plans to develop a new logistics center in the western area of Singapore. Hankyu Hanshin Properties Singapore (hereinafter, “the Company”) was established in February 2015 in Singapore jointly by Hankyu Corporation and Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. The Company reached an agreement with Singapore government and construction work will begin in the autumn of this year. The operation is scheduled to start around spring of 2017.

The Company will let the premises to Hankyu Hanshin Express (Singapore) engaged in international logistics business. By this scheme, Hankyu Hanshin Express (Singapore) will become the practical operator of the new logistics center, expanding its total floor area significantly to meet the needs of larger scale and higher level.
In terms of international forwarding business, the Group is convinced that Singapore is one of the most important hub cities for global logistics network, and intends to make full use of this new facility, besides the present logistics center near Changi Airport, to meet a rapidly increasing demand of logistics services in ASEAN region.

In terms of real estate business, this is the second investment for overseas logistics properties for the Group, following the warehouse in Jakarta, Indonesia, which is under construction since March, 2015. By executing these projects, the Group wishes to accumulate know-how and information for future expansion of overseas business.

To ensure sustainable growth towards the future, the Group has set “development of new markets (overseas market, etc.)” as a part of the strategy in the Group’s Medium-Term Management Plan. This project falls in line with it.

The new logistics center is strategically located with close proximity to the city, existing port, Malaysia-Singapore Second Link and New Tuas Port. It will have general automation features that will allow it to meet more sophisticated distribution demands from variety of customers who deal with electronics components, medical and health care devices, pharmaceuticals, retail goods, e-commerce goods and etc.
