「英語でビジネスを学ぶ科目群」プレコース12月開講
全9科目、2017年度春期より順次開講、準備備科目「GMP Prep Course A」12月開講
株式会社ビジネス・ブレークスルー（所在地：東京都千代田区、代表取締役：大前研一、以下BBT）が運営するビジネス・ブレークスルー大学（学長：大前研一、以下BBT大学）は、英語でビジネスを学ぶ科目群「Global Management Program(GMP) Courses」（全9科目）を2017年度春期より順次開講いたします。また、本科目群の準備科目として、英語環境で自信を持ってビジネスを行うための基礎力の習得を目的とした「GMP Prep Course A」を、2016年度12月より開講します。
BBT University (“BBTU”) run by Business Breakthrough INC, located in Tokyo, would like to announce it is launching a “Global Management Program” (GMP) in April 2017, which offers opportunities for its student to learn integrated global-oriented business skills in English. The aim of GMP is to create next generation global business leaders who can act with confidence on this new English-based global business stage. In advance to GMP, BBTU is offering two GMP prep courses (A and B), the first starts in December 2016.
ＢＢＴ大学は、英語でのコミュニケーションを前提とするグローバルビジネスに必要な経営知識やビジネスに対する総合的な理解の促進を目的として、2017年度春期より「GMP Courses」を開講いたします。「インターナショナルマネジメント」、「ビジネス倫理」、「グローバルマーケティング」、「ビジネスプレゼンテーション」、「ビジネスライティング」、「新規事業・起業」等をテーマにした全9科目からなる本科目群は全て英語で行われ、グローバルなビジネス環境で状況を適切に把握し問題を解決できる力を身に付けられるよう、学生自らの探究する姿勢を引き出す工夫がされています。また、一つの事象を多面的に見る訓練をするために複数の科目で同一のケーススタディを使用するなど、各分野の内容を関連付けて学習できるよう設計されています。ＢＢＴ大学は、本プログラムを軸に海外の大学との提携にも積極的に取り組んでいく予定です。
なお、英語でビジネスを学びアウトプットする力を身に付けるべく、「GMP Courses」の履修には、準備コースの事前学習が必須となっています。準備コースとしては、今回開講する「GMP Prep Course A」に加え、2017年度春期開講予定の「GMP Prep Course B」が用意されます。Ａは説得力のあるコミュニケーションを行う、自信を持つための基礎スキルを、Ｂは戦略、マーケティング、ファイナンスの基礎知識を、それぞれ英語で身に付けることを目的としています。
GMP - BBT University will launch “Global Management Program” (GMP) next spring, which equips students with relevant management concepts and integrated understandings in an English-based globalized business-learning environment. This GMP 1st phase contains 9 GMP courses, all offered only in English and designed to make students learn spontaneously through an integrated/cross-functional approach. Through GMP, students should acquire abilities to wisely make decisions and take leadership in English-based global business situations. BBTU also intends to develop collaboration with overseas universities based on this program.
GMP Prep courses - “GMP Prep Course A” will start in December 2016. This prep course aims to provide students with a variety of base-level communication skills and frameworks and strategies that can be applied to business in general but specifically for other GMP courses. Classes will focus on hands-on activities including online class discussions, analytical business writing exercises, short business presentations on a mini-case study, that will give students necessary tools and confidence to communicate ideas more effectively in business English situations generally, but especially in BBTU classroom.
