Veeva Systems、マイクロソフトWindows 10対応のモバイルCRMを発売

　Veeva Systems Inc.【NYSE：VEEV】(本社：カリフォルニア州プレザントン、日本法人本社：東京都渋谷区、日本法人代表取締役：岡村 崇、以下、Veeva)は、先月リリースしたVeeva CRM Mobileの最新版に於いて、マイクロソフトWindows 10をネイティブサポートした事を発表致しました。(本リリースは、Veeva 米国本社が7月29日に発表した報道資料の抄訳です)

　マイクロソフト社がWindows 10を発売する以前より、Veevaはマイクロソフト社とのパートナーシップを通じて、Windows 10対応のVeeva CRMを事前に開発し、マイクロソフト社の新しいOSリリース直後に顧客がWindows 10対応のVeeva CRMをフル活用できるよう配慮しました。このような継続的イノベーションと迅速な対応を可能とするベースが、Veevaのマルチテナント型クラウドアーキテクチャです。また、Veevaは業界向けのクラウドソリューションに力を入れており、ライフサイエンス業界特有のニーズや規制要件に応じたソリューションを展開しています。

　「テクノロジーや市場は驚くほどのペースで変化していますが、当社はVeevaのおかげで常に一歩先を行くことができます」と話すのはデポメド社のIT担当シニアディレクター、Mark Howard氏です。デポメド社の営業担当者は2013年の導入以来、Veeva CRM Mobile for Windows 8を活用しています。「Veevaのおかげで、当社は新しいプラットフォームやアップグレードに対応するためのコストやリソースを負担する必要がありません。当社の事業が成長し、ビジネスが新規拡大するにつれてVeevaも進化しているため、現場の営業部隊はいつでも的確かつ効率的な判断を下すことができます」

　Windows 10をネイティブサポートすることで、更に機能が向上します。たとえば、Veeva CRM Approved Emailは、Windows 10から新たに搭載されたeメールのディクテーション機能を取り入れてパワーアップしています。一方、Veeva CRM EngageやVeeva CRM CoBrowseといったアプリケーションは、アップグレードしたアニメーション機能を活かし、医師とのeディテーリングセッションを強化しています。

　マイクロソフト社でWindows製品マーケティングを担当するシニアディレクター、Craig Dewar氏は次のように述べています。「Veevaとマイクロソフトの共通のお客様がいち早く新しいOSへの移行ができるよう、Veevaがリリース前からWindows 10への開発を試み、対応を実現できたことを、嬉しく思っています。Veeva CRMとWindowsタブレットを組み合わせれば、ライフサイエンス企業の営業担当者は生産性を向上し、携帯型のシングルデバイスでセキュリティを確保することができます」

　VeevaはWindows 8のタッチパネル用に最適化したVeeva CRM Mobileソリューションを他に先駆けて2013年に発売し、ライフサイエンス企業がタブレット端末を自由に選択できるようにしました。Veevaでコマーシャル製品担当のゼネラルマネージャーを務めるBrian Longoはこうコメントしています。「私たちは主要なモバイル機器やモバイルプラットフォームに合わせてVeeva CRMの最適化に努めているため、当社のお客様は自社のニーズに最も適したテクノロジーを選ぶことができます。いまや、Veeva CRMはAppleとWindowsの最新OSに対応しています」
