inVentiv Health社は、Vault Study Startupを使用することにより、治験審査委員会や規制当局への治験の届出業務、文書の配布や追跡、治験実施施設との契約業務といった治験実施施設立ち上げに関する複雑な作業を効率化できます。inVentiv Health社は、ドキュメント、データ、臨床試験立ち上げ業務、これらすべての管理を単一のクラウドプラットフォーム上で行うことにより、臨床試験プロセスを効率化します。またステークホルダーは、共通で最新の臨床試験情報に容易にアクセスできるため、協力関係が強化されます。さらには、Vault Study StartupとVault eTMFはシームレスな相互運用性を持つため、どちらのアプリケーションにおいてもドキュメントやデータを確実に共有できます。

現在の臨床試験オペレーション環境は極めて複雑で、臨床試験の管理には、電子データキャプチャ(EDC)や臨床試験スタートアップアプリケーションに始まり、臨床試験管理システム(CTMS)や電子治験マスターファイル(eTMF)に至るまで、20を超すシステムが互換性のないまま用いられていることも珍しくありません。レガシーテクノロジーは治験依頼者、臨床試験実施施設、CRO各者間の効率、可視性、協力関係を制限します。実際に、業界全体を対象に最近行われた調査によれば、回答者の半分近く(49％)が、重要だが未対応の要件としてeTMFとCTMSアプリケーションの統合を挙げています。(※1)
